Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query typed into a search box is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. The partner processes the terms and supplies its results. We do not keep a separate log of the names or case numbers entered in those boxes.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When a visitor emails us, we retain the message as needed to answer it. We do not distribute the message beyond our organization unless a valid legal duty requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Normal web-server and analytics records can capture technical details about a visit.
- The device's Internet Protocol address
- Browser name, type, and version
- Operating system and device category
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- Referring website, when available
- Date and time of each request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small device files that help measure traffic and site use. Analytics tools can combine those signals to show which content receives attention and where visits end. Browser controls can block cookies, although parts of the site may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Collected technical information supports routine site operation.
- Maintaining reliable and prompt page delivery
- Sending a submitted query to the selected search provider
- Measuring which information visitors use
- Finding security or performance faults
- Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Mississippi County Court Docket does not host, compile, maintain, or sell a database of case records. It publishes general directions to the Mississippi County Circuit Clerk and Recorder, the separate trial courts, and Search ARCourts. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report, and this website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
An outside company powers each search box. Its own privacy terms govern anything submitted there, including retention and disclosure practices. Review that provider's policy before entering a query because we cannot control how its system handles data.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Arkansas courts, Mississippi County clerk pages, public search systems, legal resources, and outside tools. Once a visitor leaves this domain, the destination's privacy policy controls. Advertising companies may also use their systems to measure activity across websites.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may reach the services needed to operate the site.
- Search providers receiving a query
- Analytics vendors measuring performance
- Advertising networks placing content
- Government or law-enforcement bodies acting under valid legal process
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable technical and operational safeguards are used for the information under our control. No Internet service can guarantee perfect security, so a breach or loss can never be ruled out completely.
Users Under 18
This resource is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child. If such information is identified, we will remove it when appropriately notified.
Your Data Rights
Arkansas consumer-protection law may apply depending on the visitor and the circumstances. The Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, Ark. Code Ann. ยง 25-19-105, concerns government public records and does not create a right to private website data or override Arkansas Supreme Court Administrative Order 19 for judicial records. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may:
- Ask what personal data we retain
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Seek deletion of retained personal data
- Opt out of processing where the law provides that choice
Updates to This Policy
We may revise this policy as practices or legal duties change. The current version and its effective date will remain on this page.
